About Me.

Hi there! I'm Yueh-Lin, currently a student studying at Taipei American School (TAS). I’m passionate about the sport of fencing.

I started my journey as a fencer when I was in second grade. I spent my lower school years at TMIS, where I joined the fencing club, which is where my life as a fencer began. Over the years, in addition to practicing at school, I also went to FFFC for additional training.

I've been learning fencing for about eight years now, and that’s a lot of time. However, during the first few years, I treated fencing practices and competitions as fun. I didn’t spend much time thinking about how I could improve myself. After graduating from TMIS, I got into TAS and continued my journey as a student there. My middle school years were when my fencing journey truly sparked. We started to have more and more competitions, and even opportunities to travel outside of Taiwan to countries like Japan and Hong Kong. During those trips, I enjoyed training with everyone and gaining experience fencing with people from other countries.

Starting from those events, I began to want to improve myself, my skills, and everything that could make me better.

I'm excited to share my journey with you and I look forward to creating even more experiences and memories on this path.
